It's simple for me: Big Jud's in Ashton has the largest and best-tasting burger around. I only go for THE BIG JUD BURGER. Okay, I don't go alone and I can't eat one by myself, but our family loves Big Jud's. We split the 1-pound burger. We get it in the Big Jud Big Deal and then enjoy the fresh Idaho french fries, a pitcher of rootbeer, and a couple of waffle cones (huckleberry ice cream or moose tracks or playdough). Usually, we split the wafflec cones into 4 regular cones. Todd Bossard, the owner and best hamburger chef around, loves to please his customers. He is easy to work with and always has a huge smile.

Since moving to the gas station just north of Ashton, the furniture has been upgraded and there is much more room, but who goes for the ambiance? The biggest draw is the huge hamburger and the bulletin board full of pictures of those who can eat the whole thing.

Honestly, I've never eaten anything other than the Big Jud, but several of the regulars have told me that they love the rest of the menu!
